"hope decreases day by day, just like leaves falling off a tree, until it is barren..."---memoir of a geisha. the quote shld be tt i think if i din remember wrongly? lol. got alot of others which i cant remember oso but nice nice. geishas... hmmm are artists as mentioned in the show by the narrator. but somehow it is somewhat similar to a prostitue aint it? geishas sell their artistic skills whereas the latter sells her flesh... but in the end a geisha HAS to give her flesh to a bidder to become a full geisha??? like wth? wad diff issit? a geisha = a more elegant and poised and skillful prostitute? oh my... the world of a geisha seems so complicated, they have their own politics too! complicated world yea. dun understand why the mysteries of a geisha cannot be revealed tho. and for the geisha who revealed ther life as one kanna sent threats if murder? scary. anyway nice show i think? tho it is not one meant to like have any plot or wad. basically more of a documentary complimented with a tinge of love story in it yeap~ i wouldnt say it is a complete happy ending but i supp it can be one since she got togetehr with the man she adores bah. but then agian she cannot have him completely. at most as half a wife. tt is the sad part i think?=)

oh well... went to paternal side family there for reunion lunch. din really felt like going... not even close to most of them there... anyway went still and seriously was so bored there. practically faced the tv watching programmes , sms-ing ppl with oni jasmine replying and occassionally answer my grandma's questions... like so insincere. but i seriously have nth to tok to her bout!=\ what's more i dun speak teo chew... i cant even half understand it. when my cousins came and they were happily chatting in dialect i can oni smile bitterly even tho i understand nuts about wad they toking, which is totally such a fako. dammit... argh hated this part of cny every year... and it oni have to happen to me... oni me... look at my cousins with all their new phones. all 3 have their own 3g phones. nokia N70... nokia 3230... etc... me? samsung featureless phone. forget it. tt is not the main thing. sometimes i just wonder... would tings have been different if my family was still whole. whenever my mum talks bout her decision of divorcing... i would console her tt she did the right thing... it dint bother me the least bit. maybe it din bother me in the past when i was young, but now as i grow older, i am beginning to wonder... just what does it feel like to live in a whole family? would things have been better if my mum nvr filed for divorce? would things be better? i doubt i will ever find the asnwer, but i will always tell my mum tt things would not have been better. argh.. i dunno la... but i will nvr let her know of all these, cause it will only make her guilty which i dun think she should be feeling. it's not her fault. i can blame no one either... i dun even know exactly wad happen... forget it... shant think so much... it will be a better day tomolo.

went out with my cousin's family to watch "i not stupid 2" which i think is a gd show! even tho the morale of the show is kinda cliche and stuff but personally, it kinda left some kind of an impact on me.. maybe it's because the morale the show is trying to bring to us singaporeans is somewhat related to what situation i think im in bah, directly or indirectly. Basically, the show is talking about the communication problem between the parents and their child in the societies nowadays. it's very true to an extent that youngsters find it hard to communicate with their parents not because they dun want to or wad, but because it's just so hard to open up to them because they will nvr try to understand the problem in the shoes of their child. all they ever think of was the ideal child they want to mould and judge the problem according to that stereotype. nothing else matters. it may be true that parents are actually showing affection towards their child in a manner, but it definitely is a very ineffective one. but then again not always are the children correct but yea since the show is mainly abt the way parents "care" for their child... oh well. it is just so hard to talk to parents bout certain issues that are sensitive, take for example u like someone and u are just so afraid to let yur mother know. for me, i know she will nvr sit down quietly and listen to me for any sort of rational explanations nor gimme me any rational solutions. the asnwer she will give me is deifnitely u cannot possibly like someone at yur age. it is just not right. and she wont bother giving any rational explanation neither. at most she will say it will affect yur studies... and i really do not think tt is and gd explanation at all, prefectly just a mere excuse. im sure tt is the case for most of the teens of my age range out there. that is the main reason why we will not tend to open up to them, esp about sensitive issues. it's just so rare to find parents who will care fot their child in the most appropriate manner.
... oop... din realised i just wrote so much on that yader yader. oh well, another part of the show tt left an impact on me is the part when the parents quarrel. i think i should just generalise that the part of the show tt left a deep impact on me is about the current parenting "techniques" in our current singapore context. maybe it's just cause im from a single parent family bah. time and again i always say that im not in the least bit affected by it. i am still who i am. but i guess it kinda affected me abit bah. tt why i have a weird resolution since then, which i wont shamefully deny, is to be a gd parent when i grow up, a really gd one. one that will not repeat the kinda mistakes my parents made, or rather... parent. bleghx.
Of course the show aint only about all this tt makes it a gd movie! it is also super corny la! the lead actor's "ah ma" so hip lol, even use the lingo that current teens use "SO LAME!" hahaha! of course got alot of other funny parts! cliche as the theme may be, it is still a gd movie in my eyes!=D so all ppl shld go watch it! lol.
ahhhh... how do i excuse myself from tomolo... really dun feel like visiting my paternal side of the family... not even in the least bit close to them...=( feel so fake going to visit them just for the sake of visiting...

first off, i would like to wish everyone an early happy lunar new year! may all have a gd and lucky and prosperous year ahead!
today NJ had cny celebrations tgt with nj superstar! came early to lag arnd in the dance studio while helping them with miscellenous stuff so tt they can concentrate on changing costume, make hair and put on make up! was practically going to and fro the canteen umpteen times running errands~ woohoo~ oh back to about the perf. superstar and perf are not held in the same location tho~ the cny formal performance is held in hall for the j2s and ip2s whereas superstar is held in lt1 for the other 3 lvls! major man! i was in lt as a guest performer, which in this case means second round reject! but nvm it was FUN!!=D the six finalists were gd lol~ i particularly liked "JAY CHOU's" performance~ he's the oni j1 there but he was sooo gd can? si yuan oso not bad! pity i din get to hear roman sing laaa~ man~ anyway, me and kh and jestyn and jx were lagging waiting for our turn when suddenly elton came and called us out... "erm 4 of u can do me a favour? perform in the hall and help to delay the time pls" wah tt was the most shocking piece of last minute news we got... we werent even prepared to perform there la! we were oni supp to perform in lt, then suddenly perform in hall? oh my... 4 of us super nervous esp cos we were like ait voiceless in hte morn=\ but we went and i think we pulled it out well bah~ thx for ppl who cheered for me lol, it was very encouraging and i do hope my singing din scare u all away =S lol. anyway yea think we did a fine job there in the hall and since most ppl there are our friends we felt quite ok=D then we had to go back to lt to perform one more time. i think the perf in hall was better la, crowd oso better cos lt ppl were like talking when we were singing la... so sad lo... but well both singing was ok i hope. end of the performances!=D
after cny went out with class ppl in our yellow and black class jersey and mr tay to watch FEARLESS!!! COOL SHOW LA! BUT SOOOOO SAAADDDDD='( huo yuan jia died of poisoning by some cheap japanese asshole who wanna win a bet=.=... damn. lucky the jap warr is an honourable man! the fight btwn huo and him damn funny!! got one part they accidentally exchanged weapons and huo was like swinging the katana like a sabre la! wrong usage!! the jap warr even worse!! use the three link rods until he hit his own head! ROFL! but the after tt is sad le la... so sad he died! age 42 oni leh!!=( nice show! must go watch peeps!=D

bloody hell... today njc superstar auditions.... scary la!! me and jx and kh decided to take part yesterday night like whao! lol~ then... we chose our story by tension as our song cos me and jx sang it in sec sch talentime b4! nostalgia u see~ wahaha. and we oni had one day to prepare which is actually on the actual day itself--- today!!! OH MAN. today went sch prepare during civics... we gave each of us parts to sing and we tried singing... total floppage~ kh offtune... me off pitch and stuff... how to go join??? plus i oni got airy voice-.- super sian diao... one by one me and kh chicken out... -makes the chicken noise and action- we entertained the thought of giving up and so we did. i went for dance as usual since it's a wednesday. dance until like 5+... PHONE RANG and jestyn say we joining!!! WTH!!! wad kinda notice is tt?!?! last minute la! so i rushed to lt3 and to find out he haben even fill form so we say dun fill but he did anyway~ however he also included his own name to pei us go up and give us support and courage! GOOD FREN DUDE!! and so we sang impromptu and i almost burst out luffing first part when kh sang but i controlled hard!! was practically shivering from nervousness la! bloody hell! slowly it got better but we ended up singing oni one verse and chorus then stop le. time for judges comments... like not very good liddat... dun think can go into finals but nvm=) jestyn most kelian had to sing solo cos the judge say nvr hear him sing much! LOL! so funny la! but not bad la, judges say our voices tgt sing very nice!=D dunno is humouring us or wad... BUT im gonna take it as a truthful compliment!=D gd work to us!hehe~

oh man~ yesterday marks the end of STALIA ESTRELLAS!!!='( after like two weeks of orientation! but a SUPER FUN WEEK FOR US!!! all gd things have to come to an end... and just when i tot my og was super fun and high!! oh man,... how i wish orientation can continue la! s14 u all rocks man!! anyway yea just wanna say that i really enjoyed being an ogl, cos this is how i got to know more nice nice ppl like christine, ling hui, charlene, karen, aini, nani, si yuan, xiao hui, peiling, peiying and many many many many more!!!! ALL IRYL OGLS ROCKS~~ WOOHOO! ok of cos there are also many other nice ogls i met from other hses la!!=D it's really been an enjoyable time working with all of u guys!!=) us ogls rock the school down man~~woots~ yesterday came to an end with a super enjoyable dance party!!S14 PEEPS ARE SUPER HIGH MAN!! lol~ in fact~ everyone was high!! haha! we al danced and danced esp for mass dance! i like it most!! woots~ thx to the peeps who danced with me for mass dance lol~=D all in all, thx for giving me the chance to be an ogl=) it has really been a very fulfilling and enjoyable experience for me=) but now lets get back to reality, next week comes... hmk again... tests... bloody shit...

this is the 3rd day of orientation le!! so fast!!! oh man~~~ so soon the sch work will start crushingg me down le.. haiz.. lets not talk bout such demoralising stuff~~ S14 ROX!! our junior class is getting more fun each day i think! today was the war gamnes day! everything went smoothly, the weather was fine exceptionally considering the fact that the past few days have been raining non-stop! AND IRYL WAS THE GRAND WINNER FOR THIS YEAR's WAR GAMES!! HURRAAYYY~~~ SAY IRYL! lol~~ very sry to arella who practically suffered all the damg=P it's like right from the start everyone chiong arella then iryl down there watch show! lol! so corny la! oops~ STILL THREE CHEERS FOR IRYL!! woohoo! after the war games was the fun but tiring part too! THE CLEANING UP! omg, so much freaking mud la! bloody field so muddy and so stinky!SMELT OF COW DUNG LA!! eeeee!! yucks! then we had to wash up the freaking flooded toilet! lol most the dirt was like clogging up the drainer la! wth. took us so long to clean up the place, until no time for lunch then had to rush to venue for senior class bonding session! wheee~ not bad la! quite fun! lol~ played the game find someone i think=\ lol basically i cheated, oooops=P haha heh heh im a big cheater! lol~ then was the cca fair=.= which is like abit pointless la=\. sad to say but seriously, not many visited our booth lo. haiz. ended up sitting down there listening to music... crapped arnd with anyone who bothered to chat with me... sighx... 挥挥袖,潇洒走...
went to watch the CNY ppl prac in the end~ then went for HOUSE DINEER AT KAP! lol~ SO FUN LA! played several games with the class, but it got exceptionally fun when most left oni left mostly rv guys lol~ then we continued playing MAFIA!! i always kena voted out for toking too much/ not toking at all=\. FINALLY LAST RND I WON AS THE MURDERER!!! WAHAHAHA! lol~ FUN! maybe tomolo shld play again!!=D

WAHAHA WEEK 2 FIRST DAY!!! THE WALK IN!!! THE SKITS!! SO COOL!! oh man oh man~ all was cool except for the costume of mine. dammit. benjamin was like trying to "rape" me up side down inside out! lol. the toga has a cutting tooooo looooose le la haha but on the other hand cooling la. lol. but so bloody embarrassing.=\ anyway got a new OG GRP! or rather a class la! S14!!! WAHAHA S14 ROCKS THE HOUSE DOWN MAN! tho i think they took some time to warm up cos they were like super soft and oh my goodness we see the old s14 in them! tap out!! but as they warmed up things got better le la! luckily for us we got a few more enthu ppl there. and nt and linghui were like so siao la. starting scandals everywhere in class-.- haha cannot stand them man~ but stll~~ s14 ROCKS~ lol!! hope we have a more enjoyable time to look forward to the next few days!!

gosh~ first day of sch for 2006!~! first day of ogl!! excited! haha reported in sch at 6.45 for a short briefing to be given our respective jobs for the day. since it's the first day, we have to usher the ppl in. most of us are side gate ushers, which mean we have to station along the side gate to welcome the j1s in~~ me kh xm and yj moved from the sidegate up to the canteen steps! lol slacking away! oni jestyn kept saying welcome~ pls proceed to the canteen! lol si bei enthu! haha~ alot of rvians this yea man~ 132!!! we can see grps and grps coming in at any time one! haha! anyhow throw a stone oso can hit one rv i think~ lol. after tt was like slacking time le~ staff intro the ogls were like not needed to do much so went arnd the backstage and then canteen and then to the behing the hall looking for kh xm they all=D slackkkkkkk~ then after which was to being the ip3s to lt4. us ip3 ogls were like. . . like they need us to bring them there lo?O.o they were here for like 2 years alr? haha. after which went to atrium for another briefing? then went to collect money from og le! went into lt4 and sat in a while listening to wad the ip3s had to take~ they had this course or module called counselling? whereby they have to attach themselves to students younger than them to tutor them,? lol this kind of module oso got~ interesting eh? hmm my og still not bad la quite cooperative. some how heard from other ppl how uncooperative some other ogs were=( sighx. but mine oso not tt gd la=\ maybe is us ogls slack or wad, but we like totally lost contact with our ogs soon, oni to see them again after like several hours? man, like do they still need orientation or wad? osoo dunno wad we can do with them. later play with them they attitude us, dun play with them oso cannot. jing tui liang nan=\ i preferred the last session la, but oni the watching mass dance part. the singing part was so hypnotic, totally mentally strained. kept dozing off la!~=\ really tired man. one boring day just passed like tt. hope the following days will improve!!=)
